Consider Curling for your next event!
From mid-October through mid-April, Highland Community Curling Club rents our ice to individuals, companies, organizations or groups.
- rentals can include: a two-hour introduction (with instruction and a supervised game), an entire day's bonspiel, practice ice for experienced non-members, celebration parties or family and friends for a great time!

No experience required!
- Curling is a social and interactive sport that promotes communication, leadership, strategic thinking, decision making, and fun!
- No previous curling experience is necessary and everyone can participate.
- Safety first instruction is provided by passionate and experienced instructors (8:1 ratio).
- Equipment is supplied, including brooms, sliders, and assistive devices such as throwing sticks and stabilizers.
- All that you need to bring is a clean pair of indoor running shoes, and warm comfortable clothes.
Ice Rental Rates (+ HST)
Our accessible curling centre has six sheets of ice and can accommodate up to 48 people at a time with a maximum of 8 people per sheet.
- Corporate and non-member rate: $100/hour, per sheet.
- Member rate: $60/hour, per sheet, for family, friends and bonspiels.
- Registered Charity: $10/person/game (limited availability)
Instruction is available at $40 per hour, per instructor, and is required if no HCCC member is present. A two-hour block is only $35 per person with instruction (with 8 people per sheet).
These rates are for ice rental only. Food and beverage can be arranged separately.
Rental Ice Availability
Each week during the season, several times have been reserved for Rentals:
- Wednesday: 8am to 4pm
- Thursday: 1pm to 4pm
- Friday: 1pm to 4pm
- Saturday & Sunday afternoons (very limited availability)
To curl in our curling centre, members and non-members must:
- Read, acknowledge and sign all applicable club release forms and waivers which will be provided to you upon acceptance of the rental contract and Rowan's Law Acknowledgement (curlers under the age of 26)
- Adhere to club policies and our Code of Conduct.
