Highland Community Curling Club is a not-for-profit organization. Membership fees have been established to provide for our viability and success for this season, and future seasons.
Membership is being offered this season to reflect the frequency of play by each member. Fees are structured with two components: a 'base' fee plus 'league' fees. Again, for the 2024-2025 season, the base fee for all membership categories is $300. League fees are added on top of the base fee, on a sliding scale, to encourage members to play in multiple leagues. The cost per game decreases the more you play! The base fee is not charged for our Youth membership categories.
There are no increases to fees for the 2024-2025 season!
Plus, there are no capital levies for this season.
HST is applicable to all fees.

Learn-to-Curl Programs
Membership in the Highland Community Curling Club is not required to join our Learn-to-Curl programs.

Cancellation Fee
- If a curler decides to cancel their membership after the season has started, they may be subject to a 'cancellation fee' of $50, unless there are extenuating circumstances.
Late Sign-Up
- After September 30th of each curling season, conveners will be developing teams and schedules for their leagues. Curlers who register and complete Sign-Up late may not be guaranteed their choice of team(s) or league(s).
- Returning Members may be administered a 'late fee' of $50, if Sign-Up is submitted late.
Payment
- Our prefered method of payment is e-Transfer. Funds may be transferred to:

- Credit cards will be accepted with an automatic administrative surcharge of 3% applied to the total charges, to off-set the processing fees charged by our credit card payment processor.
Installment Payments
- Intermediate and Student memberships may be paid in two instalments:
- 50% prior to the start of the season, and 50% early January, 2025:
- Intermediate: total annual fee: $627.15; 1st instalment: $315.00; 2nd instalment: $312.15
- Student: total annual fee: $457.65; 1st instalment: $230.00; 2nd instalment: $227.65

- Both instalments must be paid by e-transfer.
Locker Rooms
- Locker availability is very limited for both men and women and is dependent upon the number of lockers that Highland Country Club assigns to us. Locker allocation is done on a priority and membership tenure basis, first to Unlimited Members followed by 2-league and 1-league members.
- There is no additional fee for a locker charged by HCCC. Highland Country Club may charge for a locker room access fob ($25).
Ontario Curling Association (OCA) Fees
- Payable by all curlers in Ontario: $15+HST.
