Adult Learn-to-Curl

Learn to Curl

Highland Community Curling Club is committed to the development and continued growth of the fantastic sport of Curling... and we want to teach you how to play this great Canadian sport!

Fall in love with Curling this season! Space is limited. Registration opens September 5, 2024.

Our adult Learn-to-Curl program will be offered in one session during the fall of the 2024-2025 curling season.  The 6-week session is designed for curlers new to the sport, or returning after a long hiatus. It teaches the fundamentals of the sport and etiquette and equips curlers to transition into club leagues. Included in the 6-week program are both instruction and game play.

Our program is restricted to adults 18 years of age and older ... We encourage younger curlers to join our Youth programs (Little-Rocks, Bantam and Junior).

To ensure a manageable instructor to curler ratio, our programs are limited to no more than four participants per instructor.

All necessary equipment is provided.  Curlers with restricted mobility are encouraged to try delivery sticks and other available stability devices.  Many enhancements have be made to the facility to ensure that our curling centre is accessible to all who wish to learn the sport.

Any Learn-to-Curl curler who wishes to join our Club league(s) after their session is complete will receive a $100 credit toward their league membership, for this season only.
