Adult Learn-to-Curl

Learn to Curl

Highland Community Curling Club is committed to the development and continued growth of the fantastic sport of Curling... and we want to teach you how to play this great Canadian sport!

For the 2022-2023 Season, due to commitments related to the 2023 Brier in London, we will be offering just one Learn-to-Curl introductory session.

Note: There may be other 1-day 'Introduction-to-Curling' events offered around the time of the Brier, in March 2023.

Fall in love with Curling this season! Space is limited, register today!

Our adult Learn-to-Curl program is offered in just one session during the 2022-2023 season (October-November).  This 6-week program is designed for curlers new to the sport, or returning after a long hiatus. It teaches the fundamentals of the sport and etiquette and equips curlers to transition into club leagues. Included in the 6-week program are both instruction and game play.

Our program is restricted to adults 18 years of age and older ... We encourage younger curlers to join our Youth leagues (Little-Rocks, Bantam and Junior).

To ensure a manageable instructor to curler ratio, our programs are limited to no more than four participants per instructor.

Any Learn-to-Curl curler who wishes to join our Club league(s) after their session is complete will receive a full credit towards their membership (this season or next season) in the amount of the Learn-to-Curl program fee.
