Family & Friends Funspiel - 2025

Please register for the Family & Friends Funspiel, which will be facilitated by the Highland Community Curling Club.

Highland Community Curling is pleased to announce the date for the second Friends and Family Funspiel of the year, Sunday, March 16th from 9am to 3pm. As always, everyone is welcome to attend! This is a fun way to introduce your family, friends, or neighbours to curling.

Format: two 6 end games with fun games upstairs and lunch in between.
Teams: Can consist of 4-8 people ages 6 and up (but only four on the ice at any given time). Extra members can play a couple ends or cheer on upstairs. Organizers will try to have “similar” teams play each other.
Lunch: buffet style with kid friendly options (dietary restrictions can be accommodated).
Sign Up: Deadline to enter and pay is March 10th, or earlier if full.
Price: $35/person which includes HST, lunch and small prizes.

Event Capacity: Only 12 groups (4-8 curlers/group)

Only one registration is required for each group.  Groups (teams) must have at least 4 curlers, and no more than 8 curlers.  One adult member of your group/team must be designated as 'captain' and completes the registration of each member in the group by clicking on 'Register Participants':

• First, the captain enters the number of curlers in the group and provides Group/Team name, e-mail address and acknowledges reading and agreeing with our required Terms and Conditions by typing their name in the Signature area, thereby acknowledging acceptance for the entire group.
• Next, the captain provides the names and dietary restrictions for each participant in the group.
• Finally, the captain confirms the 'Billing Information' and includes any comments/contact information for the group.  The total payment amount is calculated based on the number in the group (i.e. 5 @$35 = $175) which is paid via E-transfer to: This email address is being protected from spambots. PLEASE NOTE:

All non-members of HCCC (and parents/guardians of youth participants under the age of 18) must complete the HCCC on-line waiver before playing:

General Event Release Form - 2024-2025 Season

Completion of the on-line waiver is required so that each member of your group acknowledges reading and agreeing with our required Liability Waiver by typing their name in the Signature area of the form.
